Extension Updated

Nifty Has Been Updated

Version 1.3 captures copies made anywhere on your computer, not just on web pages, and adds a trash bin so nothing is lost by accident.

v1.3 - Latest Release

What's New in v1.3

New
Capture From Anywhere
Nifty now watches the clipboard itself, not just web pages. Copies made from the browser address bar, Chrome's internal pages, and other applications on your computer are saved to your history alongside everything else.
New
Trash With 30 Day Recovery
Deleted items now go to a trash bin instead of disappearing. Restore anything within 30 days, remove a single item right away with Delete Forever, or clear the whole bin with Empty Trash. Anything left in the trash is purged automatically after 30 days.
Improved
Broader Copy Detection
Capture now hooks the browser's copy event rather than watching for a keyboard shortcut, so right-click Copy and the Edit menu are caught the same as Cmd+C. This also clears the old shortcut conflict with Cmd+Shift+C, which opens DevTools.
Improved
Re-Copying Restores From Trash
Copy something that is sitting in your trash and Nifty pulls the original back to the top of your list instead of saving a second copy of it.

v1.2 - Feature Update

What's New in v1.2

New
Onboarding Quick Tour
A seven step guided walkthrough runs the first time you open Nifty, covering manual adds, auto-capture, and how to copy items back out. You can replay it anytime from the "Quick Tour" link in the popup.
New
Support and Feedback Links
Support and Feedback links are now built into the popup, so getting help or sending an idea takes one click.

v1.1 - Feature Update

What's New in v1.1

New
Duplicate Detection
Copying the same text twice no longer clutters your list. Nifty recognizes something you have already saved and skips it.
New
Storage Limits, Explained
Nifty holds up to 500 items, and each one can be up to 10,000 characters. Hitting either limit now brings up a short dialog telling you exactly what happened and what to do about it, rather than silently dropping the copy.

v1.0 - Initial Release

What's New in v1.0

New
Clipboard History
Welcome to Nifty! A nifty little clipboard manager for Chrome. Save text you copy, find it later, and paste it again with a single click.
New
Add Items Manually
Type or paste any text into the input at the top and press Enter, or tap the + button, to save it without copying it first.
New
Inline Editing
Hover any saved item and click the edit button to change its text in place. Useful for trimming a long paste down to the part you actually need.
New
Auto-Capture Toggle
Pause and resume capture from the popup at any time. Turn it off before copying anything you would rather Nifty not store.
New
Clear All
Empty your entire clipboard history in one action when you want a clean slate.
